This class covers the most important information any person working in the coffee industry needs to know, and anyone that is passionate about their cup of coffee should know. The Basic Class takes us on a journey from seed to cup and demonstrates along the way all the variables that go into the making of each coffee’s individual and unique taste characteristics, both good and bad. Attendees of this course will leave with a greater understanding not only of the bean itself, but with a greater appreciation for all the people and links of the chain necessary to produce the best cup of what is arguably the world’s second most traded commodity.
- Coffee Origin
- Growing Regions
- Harvest / Processing
- Cupping / Buying
