Since the first patented in 1929, the French Press has been a very consistent and easy-to-use brewing device. Its classic design and unique metal filter allow the French Press to brew multiple cups of coffee that are high in body and rich in flavor.

What you'll need
- 8 Cup French Press
- 56g (5 Tbsp) coarse ground coffee
- 1000g (34oz) of 200 degree water
- Scale, Timer and Wooden spoon


Pour the ground coffee into a preheated French Press

Fill the French Press roughly half full of hot water

Gently stir grounds with a spoon and allow coffee to bloom for 30 seconds

Add remaining water, leaving 1-2 inches for the lid

Allow coffee to steep for 5-6 minutes

Gently depress the plunger; expect little resistance

Pour coffee into a drinking vesselÂ

Serve and enjoy!
